Looking for authentic adventures?
You are on the right track!

Are you looking for a genuine insight into local life in Lapland?

You are warmly welcome to join our real-life reindeer adventures!

Come and visit a real reindeer herding family & farm in the rural countryside of Rovaniemi, surrounded by picture-perfect, authentic Lapland landscapes.

You’ll learn about reindeer, reindeer herding, Lapland, Finland, and our way of life—directly from us, local reindeer herders.

Reindeer herding has been practiced in our family for as long as history remembers—hundreds of years. Today, we have four generations of reindeer herders living and working on our farm.

An educational experience where you’ll learn about reindeer training and animal welfare. Enjoy a peaceful walk through an old snowy forest with our beloved tamed reindeer.

Jingle Bells –  Sleigh Ride Through an Old Forest – Join us for a peaceful reindeer sleigh ride through a snow-covered Arctic forest and discover the charm of Lapland’s oldest form of transportation.

Although we are officially part of Rovaniemi, our location is in the real countryside. Here, you can experience the authentic atmosphere and magic of real Lapland — surrounded by Arctic nature and beautiful reindeer living in their natural habitats.

Our farm is a perfect place to pause and disconnect from the bustle of the city, and to reconnect with the quiet beauty of the North.

Our location is about halfway between Rovaniemi and Levi, making it an ideal stop over if you’re traveling between these two popular destinations.

The final 20 kilometers of the road leading to us is a small village road that winds through beautiful landscapes of hills and forests. It’s a safe scenery road, but narrow and occasionally winding route, where a reasonable and comfortable driving speed is around 50 km/h.

Please allow at least 30 minutes for this last stretch so you can drive calmly, and take in the scenery.
In total, the journey from Rovaniemi city center takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. And the distance is same to Levi and Ylläs ski centers.

Always dress warmly for the tours. We do provide extra blankets and warm layers to keep you comfortable, but having your own proper winter clothing will always make the experience more enjoyable — especially in colder weather.

Children in particular must be dressed warmly.

A proper winter hat is essential — ear flap hats alone are not enough to protect ears in Arctic temperatures in winter.

The temperature limit for our outdoor tours is around –30°C. If the weather is colder than this, we will cancel the day’s outdoor tours for safety reasons and provide you a full refund of course.

Your comfort and safety — as well as that of our beloved reindeer — are always our top priorities.
