Welcome to our reindeer farm – a real, working reindeer herding home nestled deep in the snowy wilderness in rural side of Northern Rovaniemi, Finland.
Here, under the soft silence of the Arctic winter, surrounded by snow-covered forests and the magic of the polar night, you’ll experience life as it truly is in Lapland.
Our family has practiced reindeer herding for hundreds of years. As long as there is any written history available. For us, reindeer herding is not a performance or plain business, instead it’s our way of life.
Today, four generations of reindeer herders live and work on our farm, caring for our animals and keeping these ancient traditions alive.
On our tours, you can choose the ones you like. Depending on your choice, you’ll meet reindeer up close, walk through snowy forests in their company, feed them, or learn about animal training. Every moment is shaped by the stillness, and the deep connection between people, animals, and silent winter nature.
We offer these winter experiences:
A Visit to Our Reindeer Farm – Meet and feed our more tamed reindeer in their natural surroundings (available year-round).
Visit the Sleigh School – Learn about how reindeer are trained with kindness and respect, and take a calm forest walk with one of them.
Jingle Bells – Sleigh Ride Through an Old Forest – Join us for a peaceful reindeer sleigh ride through a snow-covered Arctic forest and discover the charm of Lapland’s oldest form of transportation.
To all tours you also can also include special extras – like a forest walk with reindeer, ponies or Lapponian Herder dogs, feeding baby reindeer, or sharing warm drinks and local snacks.
