Description
Vitako is a massive and gorgeous young male. He is training to be a sleigh reindeer and, due to his handsome outfit, he has been doing also the breeding work as a father reindeer during autumns. That is why he is still studying in our Reindeer Sleigh School and not working yet. In sleigh work the reindeers usually are castrated, and Vitako is not, yet. Castrated males are stronger in early winter because they do not waste their strength by fighting against other males while rutting. Vitako is also a bit quick-tempered, so it is good for him to get a couple more years in training and growing up also mentally.
Vitako’s name derives from his earmark which is called vita. The marking is slightly incoherent which leads often to questions if the mark really is vita. In Finnish language, this question is: vitako?
