Description
Pörrö is a pure white mommy reindeer, who has a special role in our herd. She is exceptionally tamed and trusting towards people. Her name comes from her goofy, funny personality. She often jumps on ride, standing on the skids of the food sledge, when a food delivery arrives on to her sight, making sure she will get her share before her herd mates even realize what is happening.
Pörrö is getting old, but she is still strong and healthy. You can meet her in our herd during wintertime. In summer her grazing grounds are a bit further in the forest swamps but she is wearing a GPS collar, and can be located also in summer.
It seems that Pörrö’s youngest daughter Snow White, who was born in 2017, will follow her mommy’s footprints as one of the most cheerful souls in our herd.
